Where is Zoho Invoice the better choice?
Zoho Invoice wins when you need depth. It handles deeper regional tax rules, ships detailed reporting and a client portal, and collects online payments. It also fits neatly if you already run other Zoho apps. We keep things lighter and leave payments and heavy reporting to tools built for them.
Deeper tax compliance
Zoho builds real tax compliance in, from India GST with return filing to GCC VAT. Our tax support is field labelling for six countries, which helps you format a document but files nothing.
Reporting and a client portal
Around thirty reports and a full customer portal come with Zoho. We give you document status and a statement per customer, which falls a long way short of a reporting suite.
Online payments
Zoho takes online payments and pushes reminders through its own system. We do not collect payments.

Make an invoice, quote or receipt in your browser, pick a template, and download the PDF. No account is needed to start. Log in when you want to save a document, send it by email or a read-only link, and watch its status move from Draft to Sent to Paid as you log payments.

Two ways to work
What is the difference between Quick mode and Projects mode?
Quick mode stays flat and fast, built for high-volume billing, with an item library, photo proof, partial payments and customer statements. Projects mode files every quote, invoice and receipt under the right client and project, with per-project rollups for quoted, invoiced and paid. Choose one at signup and switch later in Settings.
