Invoicely alternative

An Invoicely alternative with no monthly cap.

The Invoicely free plan stops at five invoices a month, and there is no plan, free or paid, that skips the account step. The Invoice No. browser tools carry no monthly cap and no signup at all.

How we compare

How does Invoice No. compare with Invoicely?

This sets the two free tiers side by side. A handful of Invoicely details were not verifiable from their site, so the table shows only what we could stand behind.

The trade-off

Where is Invoicely the better choice?

Invoicely wins when several businesses or teammates share one account. It supports multiple businesses and team members, connects a range of online payment gateways, and keeps everything in the cloud. We are built for one person billing under one business, and we do not take card payments.

Multiple businesses and team members

On its paid plans, Invoicely runs several businesses and brings team members under one account. We are built around a single business per account.

Online payments and statements

Invoicely wires up payment gateways and generates account statements and summaries. We do not process payments.

Cloud access from any device

Invoicely lives in the cloud, so your invoices show up on any device you sign in from. Our free tools stay put in one browser until you create an account.

Why log in

What do you get with an Invoice No. account?

The browser tools make the document with no account and store nothing. Logging in adds saving, sync across devices, and a status dashboard, in Quick or Projects mode. You can carry a quote through to an invoice and on to a receipt. Every feature works on the free plan.

Private, no-signup free tools

Invoice, quote, receipt and calculators run entirely in your browser and store nothing. Few other tools work that way.

One connected lifecycle

Carry a quote through to an invoice and on to a receipt, without retyping a thing.

A dashboard with status

Draft, Sent, Paid, Partially paid, Overdue, Void. See exactly where every document stands.

Saved and synced

Your documents and customer book follow you across devices. Pick up exactly where you left off.

13 languages, local tax fields

Country-specific tax labelling for India, the UK, Germany, Australia, Canada and the US.

Export with no lock-in

Your account data is fully exportable, any time. Leave whenever you like and take everything with you.

Plans

How much does Invoice No. cost?

The browser tools are free with no account. An account is free too, and saves up to 5 documents each calendar month with no limit on customers. Paying €7 a month lifts that to unlimited documents and unlocks premium templates. Quick and Projects modes cost the same, so pick whichever fits how you work.

How it works

How does Invoice No. work?

Make an invoice, quote or receipt in your browser, pick a template, and download the PDF. No account is needed to start. Log in when you want to save a document, send it by email or a read-only link, and watch its status move from Draft to Sent to Paid as you log payments.

Step 01

Make a document

Invoice, quote or receipt. Fill in the details, pick a template, and it is ready.

Step 02

Track its status

Send by email or a read-only link, set a reminder, and watch it move from Draft to Sent to Paid.

Step 03

Get paid

Log full or partial payments, issue a receipt, and keep a clean statement per customer.

Two ways to work

What is the difference between Quick mode and Projects mode?

Quick mode stays flat and fast, built for high-volume billing, with an item library, photo proof, partial payments and customer statements. Projects mode files every quote, invoice and receipt under the right client and project, with per-project rollups for quoted, invoiced and paid. Choose one at signup and switch later in Settings.

Quick mode

Fast and high-volume.

Built for speed. A first invoice takes about 90 seconds, and the recipient is optional, so "Walk-in customer" is fine.

  • Item library for repeat work
  • Photo attachments as proof of work
  • Partial-payment logging and customer statements
See Quick plans
Projects mode

Organised by project.

A proper client, project and document structure for people who bill by project and want every total to roll up where it belongs.

  • Per-project rollups: quoted, invoiced, paid
  • Everything under the right client
  • Quote, invoice and receipt in one thread

Questions

Answers to common questions.

How do I switch from Invoicely?
Make your next invoices at invoiceno.com, where the browser tools need no account and run with no monthly cap. Hold on to anything already saved in Invoicely, since we do not import it for you.
Is the free tier really free?
Yes. The tools at invoiceno.com need no account and store nothing. Add an account and both modes, Quick and Projects, include a free plan that saves up to 5 documents a month. Paying lifts that limit.
Is my data private?
The free browser tools keep everything on your device, so nothing is sent or stored. With an account, your documents sync to your private cloud, the same as any tool that saves your work, and we make no claim to be more private than rivals once you sign in. You can export everything at any time, with no lock-in.
What is the difference between Quick and Projects?
Quick is flat and fast, built for speed and volume, with an item library, photo proof, partial payments and customer statements, and no project layer. Projects adds the full client to project to document hierarchy with per-project rollups, for people who bill by project. You choose one when you sign up and can switch between them later in Settings.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Downgrade to Free or leave whenever you like, and export all of your account data on the way out. No lock-in.
Which countries and taxes are supported?
Country-specific tax field labelling for India, the United Kingdom, Germany, Australia, Canada and the United States, plus 13 UI languages.
