Pick a mode when you sign up. One is tuned for quick, high-volume billing; the other keeps everything filed under the right client and project. Both are open to read first, so go with the one that matches how you already work.

On the free plan you get every feature. What it limits is how many documents you can save each month, and paying raises that number. The two modes, Quick and Projects, cost the same, so pick whichever suits how you work when you sign up.
